LEGO Fortnite sets: a builder's guide

LEGO's Fortnite line covers a wide range, from palm-sized figures to playsets with plenty of moving parts. Picking the right one mostly comes down to what you want to do with it afterwards: display it, play with it, or build it together. The sections below sort the official sets by that goal. Vehicles and supply builds

Vehicles and supply drops are the most game-accurate sets, since they recreate things you see every match. They are a good first purchase because even people who have never built a LEGO model recognise them immediately. Expect something that looks right on a shelf and still has parts to pull apart.

Characters and creatures

Character sets suit fans with a favourite outfit or mascot. Some are posed figures built from many small parts, others come with accessories and a base. They tend to look best grouped together, so one set often leads to the next.

Playsets and scenes

Playsets bring several elements together in one box, so they work well when more than one person will be involved. A scene gives you a space to pose figures and tell your own story. These are the sets to reach for if building together is part of the plan.

BrickHeadz figures

BrickHeadz sets use a distinctive blocky style that turns each character into a tidy desk piece. They are small enough to build in one sitting and sit comfortably on a crowded shelf. Pairs and duos make a natural gift when you want something thoughtful at a modest size.
